Welcome to Lodge Prudentia No. 369 GLI. Consecrated in 2010, Lodge Prudentia is a Freemasons Lodge at Chennai in Southern India under the Grand Lodge of AF&AM of India. The Lodge was warranted on the 25th day of October 2010 AD - the 3rd day Kartika 1932 SE.

The dove in flight is the embodiment of liberty, transcendence of the soul, and victory of spirit over matter. It signifies the spirit of truthfulness, goodness, faith, peace, love, consent, integration and fulfillment of the Master Masons in Lodge Prudentia
The Freemasons Hall at Ethiraj Salai, where our regular meetings take place, was constructed in 1923. It is based on the Greek pattern of engineering agreeably reflecting it through its four giant pillars, prolific utilisation of Italian tiles and marbles in its interiors.
The winding staricase which leads to the first floor is made up of Sholingar stones, with wrought iron and grill. The rooms are illuminated and ventilated with the help of huge windows, nearly 12 feet above the floor. The walls are decorated with Masonic emblems, which are formed by plaster and glided while the verandas are adorned with Italian tiles.

Historical evidence shows that a Lodge Prudentia No 1869 was warranted at Tanjore, under the constitution of the United Grand Lodge of England and the auspices of the District Grand Lodge of Madras in the year 1879, but was erased from the list in 1908.
